2.2.5 Keyword / Phrase Search

A keyword search is useful when:

  • you are trying to find resources on a topic
  • you don't know the exact name of a government department, the precise title of a work, or the precise subject heading used by the library, etc.
  • you are trying to find conference proceedings / papers
  • you retrieved very few records from a previous search

Keyword search will search anywhere in all search fields with the word(s) or phrase(s) entered.

Multiple words are searched together as one PHRASE. For example, keywords = integrated learning IS NOT THE SAME AS keywords = integrated and learning.

Use and, or, and not , and the truncation symbol * to enhance your searching.
